Services: Our Services

General Dentistry

Through routine exams, cleanings and other preventative care, we can help you avoid the development and progression of oral diseases. In the case where dental issues have developed and need to be treated, we offer a wide range of restorative dental care and dental emergency services.

Being proactive about your dental health can help prevent decay, infection and tooth loss. Maintaining good oral health plays an essential role in keeping the whole body healthy.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Stained, discolored, chipped, broken, misaligned, and misshapen teeth are some of the most common concerns that can be treated through various cosmetic dentistry procedures. Our skilled doctors will work with you to develop a treatment plan that will restore confidence in your smile!

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin shells that are custom-made out of medical grade ceramic and permanently attached to the front of your natural teeth by your Dentist. Porcelain veneers can instantly improve the size and shape of your teeth; hide stubborn discoloration (even tetracycline stains); and correct gaps, chips, and minor alignment issues. The result is a straighter, whiter smile.

All-Ceramic Crowns And Bridges

All-Ceramic crowns and bridges combine the latest technology and most advanced materials in crown and bridge dental work available today. Dental crowns and bridges can provide discreet solutions to discolored, unshapely or mal-aligned teeth, restoring fractured or broken teeth, covering dental implants and filling in gaps left behind from tooth loss.

Whitening

Many over-the-counter products are available for whitening teeth without dentist supervision. However, for the most effective and safest whitening treatment, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry recommends using custom-fitted mouth trays made by your dentist. Tooth-whitening gel can leak out of ill-fitting trays causing irritation to your gums, as well as not whitening as efficiently as custom trays. With trays that specifically fit your mouth and bite, you can avoid these problems while achieving a whiter, brighter smile.

Invisalign

Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position.

Comfortable, clear and removable – Invisalign transforms your smile without disrupting your life.

Dentures

If you have lost some or all of your teeth, whether due to injury, tooth decay or gum disease— the good news is that you have options to replace them. We offer both complete and partial dentures, which can help restore your way of life by getting you back to everyday functions such as eating and speaking, as well as helping to restore your confidence by improving your appearance and smile.

Implant Restoration

Dental implants have revolutionized the replacement of teeth. Whether you currently wear full or partial dentures or just need to replace one or more missing teeth, dental implants can give you replacement teeth that look, feel and function as naturally as the original. Because implants fuse to your jawbone, they provide stable support for artificial teeth. Dentures and bridges mounted to implants won't slip or shift in your mouth — an especially important benefit when eating and speaking. This secure fit helps the dentures and bridges — as well as individual crowns placed over implants — feel more natural than conventional bridges or dentures.

Endodontia (Root Canal)

Root canal treatment is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent reinfection of the tooth and save the natural tooth. When one
undergoes a root canal, the inflamed or infected pulp is removed and the
inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed.

Oral Surgery

At Santa Barbara Smiles, we provide many types of oral surgery, including procedures such as a tooth and wisdom tooth removal, root canal, gum and jaw bone graft, tooth implants and tooth and gum repair after injury.
